David Williams

David obtained his BSc, Honors Specialization in Biology, from the University of Western Ontario (2007), and his JD from Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba (2012). His articling and previous legal experience was through Legal Aid in Winnipeg, Toronto, and London, in the areas of criminal, immigration, poverty and family law. He was a family staff lawyer with Legal Aid Ontario at the Waterloo Region Courthouse in the two years before joining Oldham Law Firm in September, 2015.

David is now practicing in the areas of civil, corporate, estates, family, and real estate law. He has successfully represented clients at Administrative Tribunals, the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice from the commencement of proceedings through trial, as well as at the Appellate level in the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

David grew up in Arnprior, before moving to attend high school in Stratford. Having made the decision to call Parry Sound home in 2015, he is engaging with the community, including through working on the Board of Directors for Community Living Parry Sound, and assisting clients to get timely results in a cost effective manner, as part of the Oldham team.
